You Got A Friend In Me

Motivation-Gym Buddies...

Noun

The general desire or willingness of someone to do something.
 Now it's this desire and willingness that really escapes some of us, we start with these to traits which then seem to diminish over time.

So how do we prevent this??..

A great way to keep motivated is to get yourself a gym buddy.
I recently took on the help of my younger brother and I found first hand that it can be a massive help to train with somebody...but there are a few things to keep in mind:-


  • Find a partner you are comfortable training with.
  • Make each other aware of your own personal goals.
  • Push each other - Set each other challenges - Compete against each other and don't be afraid to lose, it will help you push yourself to keep going.
  • When your training make sure you rotate frequently, don't be the one sitting watching the other.
  • Most importantly don't try and be proud, take on advice from each other and share your own tips then put them into practice.
*Also Remember*
If your Gym Buddy is not available do not use this as an excuse not to go, training on your own every once in a while will help you see the benefits of training with a partner.
